Danger UXB … on Guam!!

Seriously, we were diverted on our route through the capital yesterday because of a World War Two unexploded bomb (UXB)!  It was unearthed at a construction site and a bomb disposal team was immediately called to the rescue.  We were among the first cars stopped by a police officer as he turned his patrol car to straddle the road, Starsky and Hutch style, and jumped out to motion us to turn around — all very exciting!

Everyone is safe and you can read about it in today’s Guam Pacific Daily News!
