Guess where I was today?

OK, if you can’t figure it out, then scroll down to the next photo.

And the next.

I have to say I enjoyed the tour more than I thought.  I was worried it would be too hokey mass media-ish for me.  It was tasteful and you got the feeling that people were in this business because they really cared.  Interesting tour and a very patient guide, no matter how many times Mr. Full ‘o Questions asked the same or similar questions.  (You know it’s bad when other people on the tour start answering the questions because, that’s right, the rest of us were actually listening to the guide.)

The (video recorded) anchors spoke about STORY and what makes a good story.  They could’ve been teaching a writing class.  “It’s the characters,” Anderson Cooper said.  “Conflict,” said Candy Crawly.  “It’s ordinary people facing extraordinary circumstances,” Hala Gorani added.  Yup, it’s all those things.  Keep it up, CNN.
